OBJECTIVE

• Provide practical experience for those interested in careers in Research, Portfolio Management and Investment Banking

• Provide Fordham students with a competitive edge in the job market

• Goal for 2010: strengthen research expertise, expand industry coverage, start-up Fordham’s 1st student managed investment fund and involve industry analysts and portfolio managers in the Fordham community

OVERVIEW

• Teams consist of 4-5 members and may include graduate and/or undergraduate

• Presentation of final report will be made to teams, finance faculty, mentors and possibly industry analysts

TRAINING/MENTORING

• Seminar 1: Valuation Section of the Investment Research Report

• Seminar 2: Financial Analysis Section of the Report

• Seminar 3: Investment Thesis, the Competitive Advantage, and the Investment Risks Sections of the Report • Each team will be assigned a mentor
